About Us
Kay was born in Korea, and currently lives in the Appleton area. With her deep knowledge of the orient and traditional American techniques and practices, she can offer her clients healing solutions not found anywhere else in the Appleton and surrounding area.
Kay graduated from an 824-hour medical track program at Blue Sky School of Professional Massage in De Pere, Wisconsin. She is nationally certified by the National Certified Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a massage therapist. Kay is also licensed by the state of Wisconsin and is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).
Kay received over 100 hours of training at the 3D Browse Academy in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is certified in Microblading and is licensed as a Tattooist in the state of Wisconsin.
During her career, Kay worked at the Kohler Water Spa providing relaxation and therapeutic massage for many clientele including well known athletes.
Kay traveled to Denver, Colorado to complete her Master's Level training in Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy®. She is the only person ever to receive private master-level instruction from Ruthie Hardee Piper, the founder of Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy®. Kay is one of only a few people to offer this massage in Wisconsin. She has also attended advanced seminars in Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), Hot Stone Massage, and Traditional Thai Massage.
Kay brings special care and understanding to common ailments that other medical practitioners and therapists cannot. Ashiatsu, Hot Stone Massage, and Herbal Ball Massage are just a few of the advanced services that Kay can provide. Kay also works with chiropractors in the area to provide a more complete treatment plan for the client.
As a Permanent Makeup Artist, Kay specializes in microblading, microshading, eyeliner and permanent makeup removal as well as color correction of previous permanent makeup work. She is highly trained in these areas and has sought out some of the best Permanent Makeup Artists in the business for advanced training. She has taken advanced courses from Tina Davies and recently traveled to San Antonio, Texas for private advanced Permanent Makeup training with Terry Lively to further improve her skills. Kay uses only the best quality equipment and products to meet her client's needs. She also takes pride in her work being sanitary and meeting local health standards.
